Privacy Policy
This site does not require an account. We collect only the information needed to provide optional update alerts, measure site usage, protect the service, and respond to messages.
Information we process
- Email alerts: when you opt in, we store your email address, the signup page and source, a consent timestamp, update timestamps, and a shortened browser user-agent string.
- Analytics: Google Analytics loads when you visit the site and may process page paths, referral information, approximate location, device/browser details, and interaction events. It may use identifiers and first-party analytics cookies to distinguish visits. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our configuration.
- Basic service logs: our hosting and database providers may process request metadata needed for security, reliability, and debugging.
- Messages: if you email us, we process the information you send so we can answer the request.
Why we use it and who handles it
Email-alert data is used only for requested Lord of Mysteries release, beta, code, and major update notices. It is stored in a Neon-hosted Postgres database. Site measurement is provided by Google Analytics. The site is hosted on Vercel. We do not sell personal information or use the alert list for unrelated marketing.
Retention and your choices
Alert records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, unless a limited record is needed for security or legal compliance. Provider security logs follow the providers’ own retention settings. Analytics data follows the retention controls configured for the Google Analytics property.
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your alert data, or unsubscribe, by emailing hello@lotmgame.com. Do not send passwords, payment details, or private game account data.
Analytics choices
You can limit or block analytics cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics may reduce the accuracy of our aggregate site measurements but does not prevent you from using the site.
